I have heard such wonderful things about snail mucin so I was excited to try this opigen Pure Snail 91% Repair Cream. I have sensitive skin and this did not bother it at all. It moisturizes my skin perfectly without making it feel greasy. The cream absorbs into my skin well leaving it soft and smooth. I did not notice and scent to this cream which is great for sensitive skin. The price is a great deal as some of these korean skin care products cost way more than that! Korean skincare never disappoints and this product did not either!

I am using this opinen snail repair cream as the final step in my nightly face cleaning routine. I have aging menopausal skin that requires a good moisturizer. I apply it after I have washed, toned, applied my serums and then this snail mucin to lock it all in and moisturize. For a bedtime routine I feel this product works well. I don’t think I would use it in the morning due to its texture and length of time it takes to absorb, but for bedtime it is perfect for keeping the moisture in my skin. It is the typical snail mucin cream with the slimy stringy feeling on application, so if you are not familiar with snail mucin you might be a little surprised but I find if you are not bothered by the feeling of the mucin that mucin creams provide a superior level of hydration. There is no scent to this mucin and I like that it is in a tube rather than a jar for much easier application. This is a nice sized cream and I feel the price is fair for the amount of product you receive.

Once I got out of my own head over the idea of snail mucin, I quickly realized exactly why this is such a highly sought after ingedient. It absorbed into my skin quickly and instantly made it softer, smoother and supple. There was none of the dreaded stickiness. This made my skin moist and deeply hydrated layers deep. This is a great face cream and a good value.
